Abstract
The Josephson effect under particle-number restriction is investigated base d on the Feynman two-state model. The existence of a new dynamical mode of the Josephson phase, at the metastable state inherent in such a restricted situation; is shown. The new mode describes a number of features recently o bserved in a superfluid He-3 weak-link system.
