Abstract
This paper documents and presents the procedure and findings that were empl oyed in the development of fatigue design load ranges for sign and signal s upport structures. Wind-tunnel tests and field observations, interpreted wi th dynamic finite element analysis, were used to develop the equivalent sta tic fatigue limit-state load ranges, which are induced by three wind-loadin g phenomena: galloping, natural wind gusts, and truck-induced wind gusts.
