Abstract
Belonia pellucida sp. nov. is described from coastal scrubland in North Isl and, New Zealand. This is the third report of the genus Belonia (Gyalectale s) from the Southern Hemisphere. Belonia mediterranea is reported for the s econd time, from Mallorca. (C) 1998 The British Lichen Society.
