Abstract
New liquid asphalt storage tanks maintained at high temperatures require ac curate corrosion evaluation of the undersides of steel bottom plates. Measu rement at tank periphery are not representative. Steel corrosion probes sui table as coupons and fitted with high-temperature cables were used to measu re polarized potentials.
