Abstract
The relationship of the magnetomechanical damping to the magnetic propertie s and electrical resistance of damping iron alloys is investigated. The dep endence of the magnetomechanical damping and the squared frequency of mecha nical vibrations on the strength of the variable magnetic field is analyzed .
