Abstract
We present preliminary results of growth and melting at the interface betwe en spin ordered solid He-3 and superfluid liquid He-3 both in a low magneti c field of 0.2 T and in a high magnetic field of 8.9 T. Measurements of the growth and melting velocity were performed by simultaneously observing the crystal using optical techniques with a low-temperature CCD camera and by using precise pressure measurements. Our results in low magnetic held agree qualitatively with those of Nomura et al. (J. Low Temp. Phys. 95 (1994) 71 5). (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
