We use QCD sum rules, in the framework of the heavy quark effective theory,
to calculate the universal form factor tau(1/2)(y) parametrizing the semil
eptonic transitions B-->D(0)l<(nu)over bar>, B-->D-1*l<(nu)over bar>,, wher
e D-0 and D-1* are the members of the excited charmed doubler with J(P)=(0(
1/2)(+),1(1/2)(+)) We include two-loop corrections in the perturbative cont
ribution to the sum rule, and present a complete next-to-leading order resu
lt. As a preliminary part of our analysis we also compute, up to order alph
a(s), the leptonic constant F+ of the doublet D-0, D-1*. Finally, we discus
