Abstract
The authors present their experience with equine ultrasound diagnostic proc edures involving a total of 366 ultrasound examinations of patients in a un iversity surgical clinic and a private practice between 1992 and 1996. The paper describes sonographic examination of blood vessels and swellings of v arious etologies. Typical artifacts, regional anatomic structures and speci fic interpretations of clinical findings are documented.
