The structure of the polymeric hemosorbent KBS-M prepared with divinyl sulf
ide as a cross-linking agent was studied by electron microscopy. The influe
nce of sorption of the model compound (Aminazine) on the structure of the c
ation exchanger was examined. The acidic properties of carboxy groups of th
e cation exchanger, its sorption characteristics, and selectivity for a num
ber of physiologically active compounds of various types were studied. The
influence of pH on methylene blue sorption was studied, and the sorption is
otherms at three temperatures were obtained. Based on experimental results,
the thermodynamic parameters of methylene blue sorption by KBS-M cation ex
changer were calculated.
