Abstract
We study the approximation properties of the bivariate spline spaces S-3r(r )(sic) of smoothness r and degree 3r defined on triangulations (sic), which are obtained from arbitrary nondegenerate convex quadrangulations by addin g the diagonals of each quadrilateral.
