Abstract
A method has been described for the preparation of the bis(glycinato)copper (II) monohydrate complex in the cis form in the solid state. The complex wa s characterised by IR spectra, elemental analyses and X-ray spectroscopy us ing a compact X-ray diffraction analyser. The blue complex prepared in the solid phase has an identical structure when compared with one prepared by t he wet method.
