Abstract
Apharyngotrema lenti n. sp, is described from the gall-bladder of two Brazi lian bats, Saccopteryx bilineata and Anoura caudifera. This is only the sec ond member of the genus to be described and the first anenterotrematid reco rded from the gall-bladder. Specimens of Anenterotrema from the intestine o f the same hosts are also briefly described. The validity of the genus Apha ryngotrema is commented upon.
