Future of automotive industry and fuels

The objective of present paper is to analyze current state and possible evo lution of different technological options in the automotive transportation sector; and to show their relationship with potential impacts on qualities and volumes of fuels required. Due to the close relationship between primar y energy source and conversion means aboard, stronger and more relevant int eractions can be anticipated between oil and automotive industries having m ultiple alliances to develop the business in common, and to preserve the lo ng term interest of both.
