Abstract
In the structure of the title complex, [ZnCl2(C9H7N)(2)], the Zn atom is co ordinated by two chloride ligands and by two N atoms from two quinoline Lig ands, The geometry around the Zn atom is distorted tetrahedral, with Zn-N b ond lengths of 2.050(3) and 2.074(3) Angstrom, Zn-Cl bond lengths of 2.241( 1) and 2.244(1) Angstrom, and N-Zn-N and Cl-Zn-Cl bond angles of 109.3(1) a nd 115.47(5)degrees, respectively.
