Abstract
An analysis of the structure of 1,4-bis(imidazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene dihydra te, C14H14N4.2H(2)O, shows that the imidazole moieties hydrogen bond to wat er molecules to form an extended two-dimensional sheet.
