Abstract
The title compound, C17H12Cl2N2O, has a twisted conformation with the follo
wing angles between the three planes in the molecule: 86.0(4)degrees betwee
n the two p-chlorophenyl groups [planes 1 and 2], 85.0(4)degrees between pl
ane 1 and the pyrimidine ring (plane 3), and 90.5(4)degrees between planes
2 and 3. There is an intermolecular hydrogen bond [O ... N 2.847(4) Angstro
m and O-H ... N 161(5)degrees].
