Abstract
In the title compound, C5H18B10S, the mercaptoethyl and methyl groups are c onnected to the C atoms of the 1,2-dicarbaborane cage. The C-cage-C-cage di stance is 1.670 (3) Angstrom and the C-C-cage-C-cage-C torsion angle -1.2 ( 3)degrees.
