A spectrophotometric multiwavelength method for the simultaneous determinat
ion of the main hemoglobin derivatives including oxyhemoglobin, deoxyhemogl
obin, carboxyhemoglobin, and methemoglobin has been developed. The choice o
f analytical wavelengths was made by the methods of information factors and
linear programming. The software for the quantitative analysis was develop
ed considering the least square method, linear programming, algebraic backg
round correction; and combined methods including linear programming and alg
ebraic background correction.
