Abstract
In this paper we propose a study on the influence of noise on chaotic pheno mena as arising in the Bianchi IX and VIII cosmological models. In this con nection, we develop an alternative interpretative answer to a question pose d by Barrow and studied further by Zardecki. Here, we examine the effects o n various cosmological models for a number of alternative parameters in the presence of a noise. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
