Abstract
The elimination of hydrogen fluoride from N,N'-bis[(2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphe nyl)fluoroboryl]ethylene 1 gives the title compound 2 as a thermally very s table moiety; water is easily added across the B=N triple bonds.
