Video Planned Activities Training was evaluated with two parents reported f
or child abuse. A video training package consisting of 5 video segments tha
t provided descriptions and modeling of planned activities and appropriate
interaction skills was presented in the homes of two parents. Video trainin
g was an effective intervention, improving parent use of planned activities
and appropriate interaction skills. Corresponding improvements in appropri
ate child interaction skills were also observed. Social validation data ind
icate that parents rated the video training package positively.
