Abstract
We prove long-time existence for a weak solution s(t, x) greater than or eq ual to 0 of the lubrication approximation partial derivative(t)s + partial derivative(x)(s partial derivative(x)(3)s) = 0 in {s > 0} with prescribed contact angle of, say, pi/4 (partial derivative(x)s)(2) = 1 on partial derivative{s>0}.
