A detailed regional bathymetric map has been analysed and correlated with s
eismic and sedimentological data. The morphostructural features identified
between 90 and 120 m are considered as well preserved coastal enviromnent d
eposits accumulated during the last glacial maximum and the eustatic sea le
vel rise of the Holocene. They are analogues of Pleistocene seismic units a
nd reservoirs previously described in the area.
