Abstract
Based on the revision of published or unpublished material deposited in the author's herbarium, elements on the chorology and ecology, in Southern Fra nce and Corsica, of the taxa belonging to Racomitrium sect. Laevifolia (R a fine, R heterostichum, R macounii subsp. alpinum and subsp macounii, R sude ticum f. kindbergii and f.sudeticum) and to the Hedwigia ciliata complex ar e given. Racomitrium gene is new to the Corsican bryoflora, whereas Hedwigi a stellata is cited for the first time from the departements Card, Lozere a nd Var.
