Abstract
A new channel of the magnetic field action on the mobility of edge dislocat ions in NaCl crystals is revealed. It is established that, at B > 20 T, the magnetic held induces some changes in crystals, which affect the dislocati on mobility. These changes might also occur in the crystals in which the ma gnetoelastic effect is suppressed by "weak" fields.
