Abstract
Advances in our understanding of the signal transduction pathways involved in cellular growth control have provided several new strategies for cancer therapy. Recent advances now make it possible to develop selective inhibito rs targeting genomic instability, the growth, survival, and invasion of the tumor, and its nourishment through the growth of new blood vessels.
