Abstract
Advances in genetic mapping have resulted in the identification of multiple lupus susceptibility loci in the NZB/W mouse model. The analysis of congen ic strains carrying these loci is now providing functional data on their ro le in lupus pathogenesis and is paving the way to the identification of the susceptibility genes and their molecular characterization.
