Abstract
The reaction of [UO2Cl4](2-) with tBu-calix[6]arene (H6L) is made possible by the presence of Cs+ leading to the formation of a trimetallic inclusion complex. An alkali metal can definitely influence the coordination chemistr y of tBu-calix[6]arene.
