Primary leiomyoma of the ovary is a very rare tumour. Most of these tumours
are small and unilateral, generally occurring in women of 45 to 65 years o
f age. We report on a case of bilateral ovarian leiomyomata in a 16-years-o
ld woman presented with primary amenorrhoea due to elevated prolactin value
s. The left ovary was affected by a leiomyoma of 12 cm diameter and the rig
ht ovary by a leiomyoma of 1.5 cm.
