Abstract
A 12-year-old girl with a mixed malignant germ cell tumor of the ovary, tre ated by surgery and chemotherapy, developed systemic mast cell disease (SMC D) approximately 3 months after chemotherapy. Hematologic malignancies have previously been noted in patients with mediastinal germ cell tumors but th is is the first report of a primary ovarian germ cell neoplasm associated w ith SMCD.
