Abstract
The spectral properties of a suite of lunar minerals, rocks, and soil are p resented (0.3 to 25 mu m). The spectra include absorption features due to e lectronic transitions of ions within minerals as well as fundamental molecu lar modes of vibration of the crystal structure. The effects of space weath ering are noted along with diagnostic properties that allow remote composit ional analysis.
