Abstract
Using a simple thermodynamic model based on the assumption of equilibrium i n the colliding system, nuclear temperatures have been extracted from the d ata on central Au + Au collisions between 100 and 400 A MeV. The basic ingr edients of the model are charged-particle and neutron multiplicities and th e collective-flow energy.
