Z. Krnacova et al., ECOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF ABIOTIC LANDSCAPE COMPONENT WITHIN THE LAND MEASURES PROJECT FOR THE MODELING TERRITORY OF SVATY-JUR NEAR BRATISLAVA, EKOLOGIA-BRATISLAVA, 16(1), 1997, pp. 59-72
The anthropogenous influence upon production soil systems via fertiliz
ing without any respect to their basic qualities and limits has caused
only a short-term effect. An agricultural production has increased, b
ut on the other hand, a long-term mechanism of the unrequired, negativ
e changes has been initialized. Knowledge of basic functions of abioti
c complexes and their relations to biota is the first step in positive
(undestructive) approach how one may utilize natural production resou
rces. This problem has been analysed in detail on the concrete land-re
gister territory of the town of Svaty Jur. The analytical inputs obtai
ned from this territory (geological, geomorphological, soil-substrate
and climatic) were evaluated to make possible a synthesis of homogeneo
us abiotic landscape units. The real production potential of these uni
ts together with the spatial expression of limited values of wetting w
ater errosion and working ability may be employed for a proposal of sp
atial distribution of categories for agricultural soils utilization. T
he proposal of changes in the Agricultural Soil Fund (ASF) structure s
hould at present provide a stability of the proper agricultural landsc
ape as also its surroundings and, therefore, it should be elaborated s
imultaneously with Local Territorial System of Ecological Stability (L
TSES).
