The connection between the colossal magnetoresistance and the orbitally deg
enerate d-electron correlation caused by the virtual phonon exchange is exp
lored. This virtual phonon exchange is the result of the combination of the
electron-phonon and electron-strain interactions with the phonon dispersio
n. Two types of polarons are involved in the consideration of electrical co
nductivity but the virtual phonon exchange and the corresponding electronic
