Abstract
Surgical removal of loose elbow fragments can improve quality of life and r esolve lameness even in dogs that are older and have radiographic evidence of severe degenerative joint disease. Computed tomography can be a useful technique to identify all fractures or pathologic changes that are not evident on radiographs.
