Abstract
Injection-locking results are presented for MMIC based oscillator at 19.3 G Hz. A large locking range and low FM noise degradation are observed for the injection-locked local oscillator (ILO) using the fundamental and 4th subh armonic injection locking. The impact of a large subharmonic locking range on the phase noise degradation of the ILO is discussed from a system level point of view. (C) 1998 The Franklin Institute.
