Abstract
The development of novel nanofillers based upon organophilic layered silica
tes offers attractive opportunities for polymer industries to upgrade and d
iversify existing resins. Novel polymeric nanocomposites exhibit attractive
properties, improved optical and electrical properties, surface and interf
ace modification, flame retardency and barrier properties.
