Abstract
An exact analytic solution is found to the dispersion equation in optically biaxial and gyrotropic structures. Explicitly simple expressions are deriv ed for the refractive indices and the propagation directions of the optical eigenwaves. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
