Abstract
Two new cardiac glycosides were isolated from the seeds of Erysimum cheiran thaides. Their structures were characterized as strophanthidin glycosides o f 3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 --> 4)-3-O-acetyl-beta-D-digitoxopyranosyl and 3-O-beta-D-glucpyranosyl-(1 --> 4)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 --> 4)-3 -O-acetyl-beta-D-digitoxopyranosyl.
