Abstract
Swinniol (3 beta,23-dihydroxylup-20(29)-en-28-al), a new triterpenoid has b een isolated along with lupeol, betunal and lup-20(29)-ene-3 beta,27-diol f rom the chloroform extract of the bark of Bersama swinnyi.
