Abstract
Reaction of 1-Li-2-Si'BuMe2-1,2-C2B10H10 with [AuCIL] (L = PPh3, PPh2Me, As Ph3) in molar ratio 1:1 affords the organometallic gold complexes [1-AuL-2- Si'BuMe2-1,2-C2B10H10]. The complex PPN[Au(2-Si'BuMe2-1,2-C2B10H10)(2)] (PP N = N(PPh3)(2)) has also been synthesised by reaction of PPN[AuCl2] with 1- Li-2-Si'BuMe2-1,2-C2B10H10 in molar ratio 1:2.
