Abstract
The paper describes measurements made by the Hungarian Expert Loose Part De tection System (HELPS) and their analysis. These measurements cover: impact measurements carried out as part of the installation process during the st art-up of a unit of a pressurized water type nuclear power plant and result s of continuous monitoring of that unit during normal operation. Analysis o f these measurements leads to building up a reference library of the knowle dge base and baselines for mass estimation and source location. (C) 1998 El sevier Science Ltd.
