Abstract
In the past several nl years, there has been increasing interest ill the us e of pharmacotherapies improve the effectiveness of treatments for alcoholi sm and drug dependence. III this article, the use of pharmacotherapies, the putative mechanisms of action of the medications, and the evidence for the ir efficacy are disclosed.
