Abstract
Ultrasound biomicroscopy is a method of using high frequency (50-100 MHz) u ltrasound to produce high resolution images of the anterior segment of the eye in vivo. We have constructed an instrument that can be used in the clin ical setting and that has became commercially available. This instrument ha s provided insight into a wide variety of intraocular diseases including gl aucoma, anterior segments tumors, intraocular lens complications, and disea ses of the ocular adnexa.
