Diagnostic imaging of cystic lesions in the child's orbit

The child's orbit may be involved with a variety of cysts and cyst-like les ions. Such lesions may represent development anomalies of the globe and orb it, acquired lesions of the orbit, or cystic expansions from contiguous str uctures. CT and MR imaging are important diagnostic tools that aid the opht halmologist in establishing the correct diagnosis and defining the extent o f these cystic lesions.
