Abstract
It has been demonstrated that rhenium deposition onto Pt surface in hydroch loric acid media can also be carried out by reduction of perrhenic acid wit h methanol. Above 0.5 M Cl- ion concentration, however, it is practical to combine the use of methanol with hydrogen.
