The results of arthroscopic stabilization using multiple transglenoid sutur
es in 24 patients with posttraumatic recurrent anterior shoulder instabilit
y are presented with a minimum follow-up of 2 years. No serious complicatio
ns were recorded. There were 2 recurrences. The remaining 22 patients had g
ood or excellent results according to the modified Rowe score, with a media
n score of 89. The median value for loss of external rotation was 5 degrees
. Seventeen patients were active in sports and 11 returned to the same spor
ts at the same competitive level.
