Repeated fractionation of the n-BuOH extract of the aerial parts of Isodon
oresbius gave a new diterpene glycoside, named oresbiuside (1), whose struc
ture was established as 18-(beta-D-glucopyransy1)-7 alpha,12 alpha,14 beta,
15 beta-tetrahydroxy-ent-kaur-16-ene (1) mainly by a combination of 1D and
2D NMR techniques (H-1 and C-13 NMR, DEFT, COSY, NOESY, HMBC and HMQC).
