Abstract
The synthesis of functionalized 2,2-disubstituted 2H-1-benzopyrans was achi eved by condensing 2,3,5-trimethylhydroquinone (TMHQ) with alpha,beta-unsat urated aldehydes or alpha,beta-unsaturated acetals under acidic conditions. (C) 1998 Published by Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
