Abstract
Meso-(1,2,3-thiadiazol-4-yl) porphyrins are smoothly transformed to the cor responding ethynyl derivatives using potassium tert-butoxide as base. Some metal-catalyzed coupling reactions of these acetylenes are described. (C) 1 998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
